CSE-422(Web Engineering Practical)

B.Sc. (Hons.) in Computer Science and Engineering, Part-4, 8th Semester Exam’ 2011
Time: 3 hours, Full Marks: 60,
(Answer any three sections, (20*3=60))
Section-1(HTML) (Answer one by random selection)
a. Design a simple webpage using only HTML tags for Computer Science & Engineering (CSE) department of your Institute or College where <head>, <title>, <meta>, <body> and divisional tags like <div>, <span> <table> should be used as needed. (Encourage for using HTML5)
b. Design a simple menu (top or left) based web site for a Fast Food shop where menu is used for navigation between pages and sections within a page. Page should contain images and table as needed.
Section-2(CSS) (Answer one by random selection)
a. Design an online magazine cover page where all formatting and design is performed by CSS.
b. Design a home page for a tourism site where inline, internal and external CSS should be used.
Section-3(JavaScript) (Answer one by random selection)
a. Design a page where user can input his/her personal information like name, address, email, gender, mobile number etc. and perform common input validation using JavaScript like valid email, mobile number should be 11 digits, mandatory field check etc.
b. Design a webpage containing JavaScript functions that performs various actions like change text, change color, remove tag, insert new tag by different events like mouse click, mouseover etc.
Section-4(PHP, MySQL) (Answer one by random selection)
a. Design a student admission form that contains input elements like text fields, checkboxes, radio-buttons, submit buttons, select lists, textarea, legend, and label elements and store inputted data into MySQL database and then retrieve the data into same page using PHP code.
b. Perform basic input validation using PHP program.
